Paul presented to the International Institute of Business Analysis in Wellington on November 2016 on the future of their profession.
The key points were:
1/ There is a huge opportunity for business analysts in helping organisations navigate through the changing nature of work as many tasks are automated through artificial intelligence and robotics
2/ The strategic business analysts have a difficult paradox to navigate. On one hand there critical an analytical skills are more important than ever. On the other hand they need to ignore those in many contexts in order to design experiments for the future.
